Shift On Demand is your free, on-call ride to work – designed for the shifts and locations traditional transit doesn’t cover.

Whether you’re commuting early in the morning, late at night, on weekends, or to a worksite that’s tough to get to, Shift On Demand has you covered. This new, free microtransit service was built specifically for airport-area workers like you.

Just open the Shift On Demand mobile app to book a ride when you need it. You’ll be picked up by a comfortable van and grouped with other riders going the same direction – all powered by Via’s smart routing technology to get you to work efficiently.

And yes – it’s completely free. No fares. No surprises. Just a reliable ride when and where you need it.

How It Works

Service Zone: Shift On Demand will operate in the ATL Airport area, providing rides to and from South Cargo and ATL Airport. The service will connect riders to MARTA stations, job hubs, and key residential zones for free.

Operating Hours: Available when traditional transit isn’t – early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

7 Days a Week: 11am-4pm and 7pm-8am.

  • Book your ride for now or later. Make sure it begins or ends within the service area!
  • Get picked up at a designated stop near you.
  • Ride to work, home or your nearest MARTA stop — cost-free and stress-free.
